The one thing we hear the whole time when it comes to "Why did you create Dota 2?" is "It frees DotA from WarCraft 3's limitations"...
However, it seems that the Source Engine has it's own limitation, in that a Hero (or unit) can only have 1 attack point (Where the projectile comes from). This causes some attack animations to look just wrong. In Warcraft 3 it wasnt so apparent, because the overall crap graphics made it excusable, but now with the new graphics, it stands out a lot more. If you do not know what I am talking about, take a look at the following screenshots:

Mirana's attack projectile starts at the left of her head. It looks kinda weird, and it should originate from her bow. A lot of (if not all) ranged heroes seem to have an issue with their attack projectiles not starting where it should.

Dragon Knight's attack (whilst in Dragon Form) starts from the left of his mouth instead of in his mouth. It's like he's shooting the blast from his neck or something.

Jakiro's fire attack (from Liquid Fire) starts at the side of the frost head, which is way on the other side of where it should start (at the fire head obviously).
The game is ofcourse playable with these, but that's not an excuse to leave it like that. The game would be playable if all attack projectiles looked like steaks, but it's not.
My question is, is these weird attack projectile "bugs", an engine limitation? Or have the devs just not come to fixing it yet (or didnt notice it yet)? If it can be fixed, are you planning on fixing it?
