  • Minimap does not expand when -windowed resolution is increased

    Hi Guys,

I've been wondering if this is a glitch or the minimap just does not expand when you purposely increase the width and height of the dota2 screen when windowed on console beyond your native resolution requires.

I have a 1600x900 as native (max resolution) for my computer display. I use the -windowed command so i can alt-tab without issues. In addition, I also took advantage of increasing adjusting the width (-w) and height (-h) of the dota2 screen and made it wider so i have increased view beyond the 1600x900 native resolution i used "-windowed -w 1800 -h 815" to execute this.

Although this works great and my resolution widens and the HUD adjusts as well, but problem is, the mini-map map itself does not expand to fit the minimap borders.

Please refer to the image links below:

    1800x815 windowed

    1600x900 (Native) windowed

I do hope this can be adjusted, i mean, i know there aren't a lot of players that take advantage of adjusting their resolution through the console adjusts their screen like i do, but if there is anyone else out there who have experienced this issue, I'm reporting on behalf of them.

Bump This. Because no one seems to have any experience with this i assume.

This scaling needs to be changed quickly as this is SO wrong. If you go even higher on the resolution you can actually get upto 2x or even 3x more vision. For example you get stand bot lane and see the lane and Roshan at the same time.
