  • Fail to ready up - punishment is way too harsh

So i failed to ready up, by about 1 second. I arrived just too late.
Now i have to wait 30 minutes........ Really valve? at least reset the timer back to 5 mins on a weekly basis. TLDR:

Currently it is just ridiculous, if you fail to ready, or you decline because a friend suddenly comes online that you want to play with, you then end up waiting a games length of time. If a game is found at the same time as a friend comes online, and you are punished with 30 minutes of waiting, you might as well accept then spam courier feed for the 10 minute game.............

WHY DID YOU DESIGN IT LIKE THIS>????????????????????

There are numerous occasions where someone might legitimately fail to ready, sure they should be punished for it as you are making others wait. But really 30 minutes is just excessive. (oh yeh and the last time i failed to ready up i got 10 min wait time, because when i clicked accept dota2 crashed, because you broke the game with ur recent update, i get similar crashes when switching from store/armoury to play tab.........

edit; This should be in the Reborn -- General discussion sub forum, not the custom games and tools sub forum... -- or it should be in the normal Dota2 forum. both fit i think

Take a look into the mirror! You think you are completely unfailable. With your limited knowledge, you think that you know more than someone who is very deep in the matter/an expert.

It's 10 minutes for 1 time, i had that like 3-4 days ago and my friend too. You sure you only declined once?

Actually 30 minutes ban sends the right message. Don't decline the game, don't miss the message etc. It doesn't really matter what happened because we all had games where friend comes online as soon as we get the game but that is not valid excuse. You can't adapt system to 1000000 people at once who are have "legit" reasons to decline.

Boy, that's a really bad argument. 30 minutes ban doesn't solve anything, it just punishes people who didn't do anything wrong.
