So, with the new clint is impossible to do this anymore?, i mean i used to mute people that were clearly either abussive or terrible at the game and when i saw someone muted on my team i would dodge that game and wait another 10 minutes or so, now i cant do that anymore or im missing something?

Dodgers are among the worst scum in DotA. They think they are good and they blame their failures on other people. Not to mention they try their best to cheat the MMR system.

Yeah, you cant do it anymore. And I applaud valve for this change to take out the trash.
Make a NON automated report system.
I would rather wait 10 minutes for a balanced, fun and exciting match that will last 1+ hours. Than wait 10 seconds for a poorly balanced crapmatch that will end in 30- minutes
Valve, How I'm I supposed to respect certain boundaries to prevent a mute if I dont know them because they are different for each and every person on each and every game I play?
The only type of player that dislikes having his stats public are the players that suck and cheaters

I've been matched with people I've reported and muted in the previous game HUNDREDS OF TIMES. Even for two-three times in a row.
And I've never dodged. Why should you be allowed to skip the awful games this great mm system offers?

There s a difference between dodging every now and then. And being a dodger (People who dodge often...say...more than 3 a week...even 2 is a lot)

You dont need a banlist/mute to remind you of the name of the drunk or intentional feeder you got last game.

No. banlist is the same as muting people and using it as such.
And all they used it for was to blame other people for their own fuck ups and try to cheat the MM system by dodging people they think are noobs.

What we need is a real report system that deals with scum like dodgers, intentional feeders, item farmers with bots and others.

No its not the same. Banlisting someone only means you play against them not with them. Maybe you are not compatible. Example, you prefer caution game style, he likes aggressive laning. Simple stuff like that.

You have to consider that everyone screws up every now and then. And everyone is angry every now and then.

Today you might have a horrible, painful, annoying and nasty game with some one for any combination of those reasons. And in a month when neither if you remember each other you might have a very good match together.
