  • Last day at Dota 2

Today was my last day with Dota - After having fun on WC3 Dota Version, Valve managed to destroy everything what dota was. Therefore i am gonna try League of Legends, HON, Storm cuz Dota2 simply is dead.

After several bugs and more bugs, non pratical low priority now i was FORCED to play with people i kept reporting when they intentional feed, flame etc etc etc. Lost 6 games in row. While i have 4k in Team MMR i can leave the 2k solo MMR cuz no 1 will listen and valve doesnt have a clue how a ranking pool should work.

This game should never have left Blizzard, a company where the money is invested in the game and not in a console. I really hope that Dota2 copyrights get purchased by someone cuz this aint work.

I can't stand LoL graphics that's why I moved away from it, way too dated. Storm I find way too simplistic. Smite seems ok. HON I believe the game is dying? Leaves Dota 2. With its myriad of problems.

I feel you man, people sometimes throw games just to annoy me..What kind of logic is that??
I have reported people, then played with them again, very bad.
I am stuck on 3k solo and party..Once moved to 3.2k on solo then lost in a row all the way to 2.9k.

I think the major issue a lot of players are facing, especially with solo queue is that they feel their ranking is not truly representative of their actual skill. This is because of the sheer number of matches they can recall where they seemingly did almost everything right, but could not stop the horrible behavior of one or two teammates from ruining the match.

I'm convinced that in order to move up the ranks in this game you have to adopt a certain type of personality that allows you to deal with this sort of stuff. The skill in being able to withstand abusive behavior and still thrive is something that plays a really big role in moving out of the lower ranks. Its something I'll admit I'm terrible at. I love playing this game but it does piss me off that in order to get better I have to do a lot of things I find gut wrenchingly painful, like having to reason with assholes and get them to cooperate. I usually fail at this and that's a big part of why I've been stuck in the same gutter for a long time.
