    Dear Valve,

    Client-side particles are great, and open up a lot of new possibilities. The main use cases in which they will be implemented look to be either building ghosts for RTS-style building and targetting cursors.
    The users in the modding irc have been working on these cases and we have found to lack a crucial part for both these use cases. Both for building ghosts and targetting cursors the targetted area might have to be evaluated based on the units on there. Therefore some kind of FindUnitsInRadius implementation like exists in lua would be very useful. (It is possible to use Entities.GetAllEntities() in Panorama already but that seems very unoptimised and kills performance, basically making it unusable).

    Additionally, it might be nice to also have some functionality to be able to check if a certain square on the gridnav is occupied or not.
