  • Render 3D models in custom UI

    In default dota UI used DOTAScenePanel to render 3D models, but I cant find any documentation about this
    Is there way to use DOTAScenePanel in custom UI?

    From what I've gathered, DOTAScenePanel is closed to us, we don't really have access to it yet. But I figure once they start converting more of the in-game UI to panorama, we'll be able to access that along with other currently-closed panorama functions.

      Below is an example of a DOTAScenePanel that displays Sniper on a pedestal.

      I don't know how to use it to render just 3D models though - if a Valve dev could shed some light on this I would appreciate that. I had to resort to using WebMs instead for some things.
