Forum Rules

    The function SetOverrideSelectionEntity(handle unit) properly sets the "Hero Hotkey" to the passed handle, but it does so for every player in the game, which makes it not so useful.

    It should be a method of CDOTAPlayer, so its possible to make gamemodes that aren't hero-dependent (i.e. forcepick a hero but hide it, make it invulnerable and forget about it, setting the player selection entity to a new unit, like a city center)

    Please consider enabling this.



    Edit: Maybe move to Scripting section, I still don't get used to having so many subforums for tool issues
