Can we have dota_unit_allow_moveto_direction back?

  • Can we have dota_unit_allow_moveto_direction back?

    The change from dota_unit_allow_moveto_direction to +dota_unit_movetodirection added more flexibility to the command but now there's no way at all to use it with the ALT key like it was before.

    Someone found a workaround to bind it back to alt using F13 but it prevents some other alt commands like hero highlighting to work well. (EDIT: Here's the workaraound)

    I'm asking to have the command back as I highly doubt ALT will become bindable all of the sudden, also, having an option in the menu would be even better since "moveto" is one of the most useful commands in dota and a lot of people don't even know about it.

    Did you guys found any other solution? Thanks!

      This is pathetic. It serves 0 people. People who used it before got fucked because they can't use like they are used to, and people who do not use don't give a fuck. There is that little thought put into the development?

        What kind of thought proces made you do that to the alt key??

        We now have to use a hotfix from a reddit user!


        PLZ GIFF us legacy alt key support! i cant seem to find another key, that is as comfortable or as good to use.

          * Added a new convar cl_dota_alt_unit_movetodirection that enables alt+right click to issue a directional move command.
          Fixed October 30th.
          Every time you have an issue, spend at least 5 minutes on each of these four sites Google, Wiki, Github, and ModDota
          If you still can't figure out your issue, post your issue on moddota in as much detail as possible with a SSCCE. If you do not complete these requirements, than you will be rejected by the community. Try not to contact individual users for help as we are very busy.
