  • Major Particle Editor Crash !

Launch Particle Editor with or without SFM running. Try to resize the particle preview window[no particle systems loaded]. The game instantly crashes!

Can't find any crash dump file or anything.

Mine seems to work following the above steps. My first guess would be that some custom textures are crashing the file explorer thus crashing tools.

It'd help if you uploaded a crash dump so the devs can more accurately understand the issue. You can find crash dumps in your Program Files (x86)/Steam/dumps directory. If you have multiple dumps, it would benefit you to sort them by date so you can more easily find the correct one (or you can recreate the crash and get the latest one, if the crash still persists). You can then "zip" the dump file and upload it here in this topic either in a new post or in your original thread post. You'll have to press the "Go Advanced" button to show all the buttons in the reply box (some are hidden by default). Click on the button and navigate to your Steam/Dumps directory to upload the corresponding file.
