The particle is named wisp_ambient_e inside the first child of the wisp particle system.

Actually it's his tentacles. The tentacle system doesn't appear properly in SFM as it relies on velocity for the tentacles to move around properly and not stay inside his body in an inert state. SFM also does something strange when many layers of particles with the Modx2 modifier (which basically makes the particle "overlay" whatever it's on top of) overlap, causing it to be rendered black or some range of colors between yellow, red, and black (particularly when rendering it as a screenshot or video). You want to disable the renderers of the wisp_ambient_tentacle_entity and the wisp_ambient_tentacle particle systems.
