    My name's Max - I teach game art and development.

    I'm currently holding a course in 3D modeling with Dota 2 cosmetics as the centerpiece.
    Things are going excellent (for the most part) and we're able to create and attach our props in Blender for some nice renders.

    My issue is with the Vengeful spirit model as we've not been able to have the skirt, knee-guards, and shoulder pads follow the DMX animation once the model + DMX file is opened in Blender via the Blender Source Tool.

    This is the only model where we've had this problem. Here are a few things we've come across whilst trying to troubleshoot.
    • Vengeful seems to be an older model with its components separated into different.smd files
    • Alongside these .smd files are a version called vengeful_model.smd - this seems to be a combination of all the separate smd files?
    • In the Asset browser of the Workshop tools there is no version of Vengeful with her basic cosmetic loadout "attached" (as compared to for example the Darkseer_sfm.vmdl)
    • Adding the lower and upper body files alongside the main figure into Source Film Maker allows us to attach an animation to all 3 parts, but we have not been able to import these into blender successfully.

    Any and all help would be very much appreciated!
