IMPATIENT MAIDEN KINETIC GEM STOPPED WORKING. ANIMATION STOPPED.

Hello. I'm having some issues with my YG inmortal. I used my hammer to take out the gems because I wanted to change the order of them... But when I did, the impatient maiden kinetic gem stopped working. Then I placed them pack in the previous order but nothing happened. I don't know how to get my animation back. Please fellas I need help.

    Thank you in advance

Players who have the kinetic gem should get a mastery gem automatically.

I just wanna say that the skill animations should be bound to the kinetic gems. Why wouldn't a player who does not like the design of an item(I prefer hair to hats for example so I do not like CM immortal too much) be able to change the animation?. If they won't change it, I will consider the money that I used for a new chisel wasted. Additionally, if they change effect to mastery gems, I will have to use the hammer again. Valve does a lot of things for players so please change this thing . In addition, they implemented crafting FOR SOMETHING.

They look bad? I love my Vengeful Spirit weapon and the Abaddon weapon is quite sweet as well. The Pudge weapon looks amazing and it is still on the market for quite a high price. Not a fan of the other items but I wouldn't go so far as to call any of them ugly, not even Lone Druid's weapon, which got the only noticeable amount of smack talk.

Basically all the items this year are way too flashy. We can try comparing them and yes, there are some nice items in the lot, but most of them are a weak joke. Last year the smack talk was centered around comparing one item to another and arguing that some items had fewer features, the smack talk had little to nothing to do with item quality. Some of the items this year simply lack quality, and that's what is getting to me and others. I don't want "Yellow Flash" Windranger or Crystal Statue. I don't want Spiderman's nemesis the Masked Axe in our game either.

Storm Spirit's item is just straight up spooky, and Death Prophet's item isn't, and IMHO both take the hero in awkward directions. Along with the Dragon Knight and the Warlock items, these are by far the least offensive items this time around. Each of these items make a lot of sense restricting the items so that the animations and/or effects can't leave for other items, but none of the other items really do, with the possible exception of Tinker's item, but I didn't think that item was anything special, it is quite ugly.

This also explain why some immortals have kinetic gems while some dont have.

That is so incredibly minor I don't see how it's worth making a gem for it. They should have just made a gem for the afterimage technique. If people wanted to get nitpicking, they could then complain about the bow not being held the same way and ask for a kinetic gem to be released or whatever. But at least then you wouldn't get so many people disappointed. Last year's Immortal items were so much better than these. They actually looked great. These are ugly and make me think that definitely this year and next year's compendium are not going to be worth it. Why level up to get a lot of awesome items only to be disappointed that you can't transfer special gems over to any of them? That 10 dollars on that compendium goes towards some ugly items with awesome effects that can't even be transferred. It's basically garbage.

    "Kinetic: Yulsaria's Glacier"
As I understand it, this gem will not change the animation Crystal Nova on the other item

Not all of them - custom animations of these items are bound to Kinetic Gems and can be moved to other items.

Personally I think the whole gem system is one big clusterf!ck, and the best we can do is to help people learn about the gems to avoid confusion in future.

  • [Immortal Items] To people having "malfuctioning" Kinetic Gems - read before posting

I`ve seen numerous reports from players claiming that they can't transfer spell effects from Immortal items to other ones by transferring the Kinetic Gem. Some users including myself have replied in some threads about this case, but it seems it will be better to have this separate thread that, I hope, people will read before creating a thread.

So for the new Immortal items, Kinetic Gems only contain custom animations, and not spell effects. Since they don't have Mastery Gems, the particle effects of the Immortal items can't be transfered to any other item.
Therefore, if you transferred the Kinetic Gem from the Immortal item to another item, and ended up with new animations without custom spell effects, it's working as intended. However, if the transferred gem doesn't change animations, then this is a bug and should be reported (Note: Kinetic gems are hero-specific. You can't make Tinker's gem work on Sniper, for example).

Interactions between two Kinetic Gems in one item are not related to this issue - go ahead and report them.
