    Trading Chests for Something

    Well I just see that DotA 2 will be free to play so for those individuals that gather lots of chests, but don't want to spend the money to use it, why not allow a trading system of chests; for example, if someone gets 25 chests, they can trade it in for 1 key. I just feel that this idea will motivate individuals to play more, and it will still provide a feeling of a game that's free to play.

    You already get something as a free to play player, it's those random/levelup items. If you don't want chests and are unwilling to destroy them for nothing, that's why there's trading.

      you already got free random item drop around 2/3 per level. this is not necessary. beside,you do know you can trade those chest with people right? there will be someone who willing to trade 1 or more item for chests (depends on the quantity and type)
