    Clearification about trade Bans?

    Hey guys,
    I would love to have a clarification about trade bans.

    Here are some expample questions, I would like to ask:

    Can you get tradebanned through this report system?
    or is this message, which others get, the only consequence?

    "Other members of the Steam Community have reported [CasinoBot] Cassie for attempting trade scams. Proceed with caution, and remember you will only receive the items shown in the trade window. Steam Wallet funds and CD Keys cannot be traded."

    Can't this be abused? :O

    Why can't most trade bans be lifted - even if you agree to delete the "stolen" items?

    Can you get tradebanned by trading with bots? I mean there are casiono bots, dota2lounge bots and so on -> thousands of items are moved through their inventories, maybe even stealen ones.

    Can you get tradebanned if you do trades in steam window only? I mean that you get item x and pay item y for it?



    I am asking beacuse it is pure pain to be afraid of this trades.

    I have an inventory worth around 800 keys, if not even more and I'm too scared to do trades right now, because it might end with a trade ban -> no possibility to get the items out.

    I think the answer is yes you may get banned from steam because of steam reports fake or not.
