  • DreamBar tournament website contains malware, caution!

Here is the store link for the tournament:

The tournament's website is clearly visible on the ticket graphic as well as the target link in the in-game browser.

Visiting the site with an up-to-date anti-virus software (in my case Avast!) the site will be blocked for attempting to install malware.

Please suspend this tournament or at the least remove the website from the ticket.

I know this thread isn't about compendium points, compendium stretch goals, delivery of compendium stretch goals, or compendiums at all... but it's still kind of important Dota 2 isn't linking users to malware. Right?

Just because avast says so doesn't make it so not to mention a site can get flagged simply because some user put something in a post or signature.

Actually, it's on every page, sub domain, and sub directory of that domain, meaning the entire site was compromised and triggering my antivirus software since it was discovered weeks ago.

Even if it was just a single incident like you say, the fact that users in the dota 2 client and the store are being directed there is the issue.

If you don't think avast is a reliable program then please check the website using you own security software and tell me what it says to you.

It says nothing and avast isn't that good anyways (personal opinion).
