The shortest game time was 20:40, which was considered to be in the "17-20 minutes long" category, whereas the longest game time was 80:21, which was put in the "81-90 minutes long" category. Obviously one of these has to be incorrect, imo it is the latter since the game did not reach 81 complete minutes so it cannot be within 81-90.

Nah, it's the former that's incorrect since the game was MORE than 17-20 minutes long. The 21 minute category would be right since the game had entered the 21st minute. Just because it hasn't been 21 complete minutes doesn't mean it's 20 minutes long, when it has clearly passed that time by 40 seconds. You don't just magically put the seconds aside to not be in the result at all, that's flawed logic.

Well I maintain that the wording of the options implies that complete minutes are all that matter and seconds are essentially irrelevant, but there's not much point in us rehashing an argument that's probably been had thousands of times. Somebody in Dota land will just have to decide which it is and fix one of them.
