This summer(I think June) they expired. So when you entered dota 2, they just expired.
This is like treasured that have expired too.

The problem is, I wasn´t playing the game, I didn´t receive any notification about the change in the game economy, I really think they should at least give a item change warming in steam!
There was no way for me to know they were going to remove items from my inventory without at least an email or a notification on steam front page!
Now steam tells me I need to talk to dota 2 support, but there isn´t a dota 2 support, I am here talking to people that have no power to do something to fix or refund me.

Info about expiring of keys was at the end of 2014 or even earler, you just didnt pay attention to it, they told it many times: blogs, patches, reddit etc. Dont blame them - its your own mistake. And You cant get it back by any means. Close that thread.

          Treasure Keys
          - Treasure Keys are no longer sold on the Dota 2 store.
          - All basic treasures that were previously opened with a Treasure Key have been removed from the game and the Steam Community Market.
          - Treasure Keys can now be redeemed for a free unlocked Treasure of your choice. When you use the treasure key a new redemption menu will open. Immortal treasures and some older special event treasures are excluded from this menu, but otherwise the list of treasures is unrestricted. One key can be exchanged for any one treasure. As new treasures are added to the game, they will also be added to this menu.
          - All treasure keys will expire and be removed from the game one year from now on July 1st, 2015. Keys must be redeemed by that time.
They gave people 1 year time to spend their keys. That's a very long period. The treasure keys in your inventory were marked with an expiring tag. Your way of thinking is wrong. Ignorance doesn't save you. If a law gets published the details are announced and a date is given when the law is enforced. After that date the law is valid. People were made aware. Some people will learn of it after the date but it doesn't save them from the consequences.
