  • Starladder Season 4 Tickets

    Hey guys,

    I recently bought a Starladder Season 3 Ticket via the Dota 2 Store to watch the current ongoing Starladder matches only to realise its already Season 4. When I clicked watch at the tournament tab, it directed me to purchase the Starladder Season 3 ticket.

    Does anyone know if my ticket will be upgraded or will the Season 4 ticket replace it? Also, how can the Season 3 tickets be used to watch the current tournament

    Hope my tickets get upgraded into a Season 4 otherwise its $2.99 wasted

    Anyone else made the same mistake?

    I bought SS3 ticket some months ago and watched through the final match.
    And now I can still watch SS4 with the same ticket (no need to buy a new one), so I guess you can use (or have to buy) SS3 ticket in order to watch SS4 games.

        The Defense Season 3 has not started yet and doesn't have a ticket either from what I know.

        Just be a bit more patient.

        The StarSeries ticket stuff is kinda unfortunate. The Season4 ticket didn't arrive on time so they still flag it as Season3 without actually telling anyone.

          Okay... So the latest patch update is out and they just added the Starladder Season 4 Tickets into the store.

          So I was directed to purchase a Starladder Season 3 Ticket to watch the Starladder Season 4 matches two nights ago, I purchased it and now the ticket is invalid because its a Season 3 ticket. Why was I directed to purchase a Season 3 ticket then?

          This basically means I've wasted SGD$2.99 on a Starladder Season 3 ticket, without watching any of the games!? and now I have to spend another SGD$2.99 to acquire a Starladder Season 4 Ticket which I originally was looking for and thought I purchased from the store via directions of the tabs in-game.

          Could any admin please comment on this?

            The defense Season 3 qualifiers start this week, the actual tournament wont be for a few weeks, just wait and see

              Same thing here. I have contacted Steam Support and ask them to change it to Season 4 or to refund me so I can buy the new ticket

                Could you post in this thread about the results of your steam support ticket? I have also contacted them citing my problem. Now that they've updated the Store, my Season 3 ticket is completely useless and I never got to watch a Season 3 game live anyways

                They should have at least fixed the redirection on the watch tab, I purchased the ticket thinking it was the current season pass only to be taken for a ride and paid for a completely useless ticket now.
