    will keys get revoked?

    *sorry i don't know where else to post this.

    i just traded my dragonclaw hook for 27 keys with another guy that i had contacted at dota2lounge. he gave me all 27 keys and nothing seem suspicious until he deleted and blocked me on friends list when i tried to add him. then i told my friend about this and he said that there's a possibility that my keys might get revoked if that guy used paypal or some other payment method that allowed refunds. he said if he asked that company for a refund, then steam will automatically revoke the item that he had asked a refund for so in this case, all 27 keys might get revoked. is there really such a possibility? i am ****ing afraid and anxious now because of this. what can i do about it if it really happened? can some1 please reassure me on this. thanks!!

    Never bought anything from the store but isn't there a time limit where you cant trade what you just bought or something? If so then I guess paypal wouldn't be able to get a refund from steam after that long or steam even allowing a refund after that time.

    Also dont you have to add someone first to trade them? Deleting someone after a trade is a very normal thing to do.

    PS. Idk how much dragonclaw hooks are worth but if an offer is in favour then youre most likely getting scammed.

      You cant revoke what is no longer yours, i got hacked for a lockjaw in my account (tournament lockjaw so its easy to track) back in TI2.
      Valve basically told me to go suck a ****
      So i'd say you are safe.

        trying to get your money back after a purchase with paypal usually don't end well - eventually you'll have to pay.

          It is worth 27-28 keys but there are some that sell / offer for 26. Yes there is a 1 week time limit but I don't know man. I know deleting someone after a trade is normal but he blocked. I don't see a reason to block someone after trading?

          Sorry to hear that. I hope i am safe too since this is my first time trading with this much on the line.

          My friend told me that because he said he got scammed once by this method, but it was a steam game instead. So that got me paranoid and suspicious of this guy. But I hope what everyone said here is true and that I will not lose anything.

              If you traded hook for keys inside the trade window there is nothing to be concerned about as once Valve see's it as a normal transaction should anything be revoked you should also get your item restored. It's once you start trading an item for nothing in the trade window is when it can look suspicious as they do not condone the use of Paypal etc as part of trades.
