Ahh I wrote this mad last night after my first muted game, we won and I was actually able to use the chat wheel to slightly communicate. It was me (Bane) and Lina top vs Sven and Jakiro and we decimated them, I said 'well played' a few times and apparently Lina saw and said 'u2' each time, problem is, we need a few more commands. Wish I could have said 'ok', 'no', or 'rosh', and some other stuff just to keep the communication useful, otherwise they have no idea what I'm going to do and its hard to strategize.

Tbh a mute ban is the worst idea valve could ever have. They just need a completely different report/ban system. I don't really know how the current system "works", but it seems to be just bad. There should be some other way to punish people for bad behaviour and a better recognization system to detect bad/good behaviour.
      Prepare for unforeseen consequences.

        Proof the mute ban works.

Hardy har har, that statement is so inaccurate. Firstly, mute does nothing, I just go to a smurf account and continue to call bad plays what they are, the biggest inconvenience is not being able to use my main which has the items I paid for, which isn't that big of a penalization and just discourages me from paying for anything else, I still get to play and do everything I could with my main on a smurf until it happens on that account and than I move to the next. So all it really achieves is discouraging people from spending more money which is counterproductive, but yeah, it works great.........................
