  • Enable "free" testing for heroes with no budgets?

You can't test stuff for some heroes because they don't have polycount budgets, so it doesn't let you compile and preview the model. Can you allow them to be previewed, but not allowed to be uploaded to the workshop? This is also a pain because you can't test stuff for heroes that are not in the list (eg: Siren's weapons are very high poly so you can't test them on this new tool not only because there's no siren test option, but also because all the budgets are lower than the weapons' polycount so you can't test it on another hero, like you can on the "old" uploader)

Also please let add more heroes on the list

PS: Even if some heroes don't have polycount budgets, people usually make the polycounts lower/the same as the original piece, so it's not really useful to not allow testing at all on those heroes

totally agreed, I think the preview could create a lobby game with your hero picked and already with the item you're testing. so you would test lod0 model and lod1 model.
and could have an option to load .qc so if you program any custom animation or bones it would be tested

Being able to upload without needing a texture would be really nice too.

Ye i also would like some more easier way to test stuff, like just select the item and the pretesting bare texture that just has color and check the overall apearance.
Also the unnatural old browser could be updated.
