Do they have one? How is it constructed? And if they don't have one, are they working on one? I want to know how it works

I have a question about the dota bracket system

There is hiden ingame rating for every player.
It is some kind of elo rating system, probably somehow modified.
Brackets are actually not needed, it is just discretization which doesn't help in any way.
I personally want Valve to make MMR(MatchMaking Rating) or some derivative from it visiable, but I perfectly understand they aren't doing that. You're only as strong as your weakest link.-Thomas Reid

Don't draw attention to yourself
Don't use voice or chat except for 'ss'
Mute all at lvl 1
Only play in parties
Get alternate accounts
Limit your usage to one or two games per day per account
Don't play too well
Don't play on Sunday or Monday
Wait until the developers reset LPQ status
If you're getting matched with trolls or feeders:
You may have been placed in a hidden pool. There is no known way out of this, apart from moving to a different account.

Otherwise we get matches like we do now days, with REALLY good players with 2000 games and 56% winrate, with and vs players with 0 won games, and 4 lostMake a NON automated report system.
I would rather wait 10 minutes for a balanced, fun and exciting match that will last 1+ hours. Than wait 10 seconds for a poorly balanced crapmatch that will end in 30- minutes
Valve, How I'm I supposed to respect certain boundaries to prevent a mute if I dont know them because they are different for each and every person on each and every game I play?
The only type of player that dislikes having his stats public are the players that suck and cheaters
