[Suggestion] Ranged Hero's Melee Attack Animation

    No, nothing else, your suggestions at least are not realistic as I've requested, but they also not all easy to code to work.
    1. lol her mount is a tiger like creature. I did not mean mirana to bite her enemy (lol) but her mount.
    2. No changes needed because she would appear that she is using palm thrusts to attack in melee range.
    3. Luna's creature also has claws and teeth so yeah
    4. I find what I said normal although Shmendrich gave a better solution.
    5. I guess you are talking about medusa, whom I forgot to mention at first but I edited my post with my sugestion about her. the whip is used by razor (whom you mentioned) and they can just change the animation swing to make it look like melee.

    Don't you mean YOU don't find them realistic? Also did I say that it would be easy to do? Or That it will surely be implemented? I am just expressing my opinions on OP's idea which I like

    Oh and Troll uses SMALLER axes in ranged form, which can be very well used to hit someone close if you are stupid enough to not switch to melee form if someone is close.

      A whip...wow sounds hard.....

      Changing the weapon with which a hero attacks is SO difficult...oh wait...it already exists? right! we can buy lots of customized weapons and clothes for our heros?

      But uh...its more than that its the MOVEMENT and animation the hero makes while attacking...thats so difficult to change too!..

      Its almost as technically impossible as making maiden throw herself down to the ground and make an snow angel by moving her arms and legs? HAHAHAHAH like something that difficult could EVER be done...wait..it has?
      Make a NON automated report system.
      I would rather wait 10 minutes for a balanced, fun and exciting match that will last 1+ hours. Than wait 10 seconds for a poorly balanced crapmatch that will end in 30- minutes
      Valve, How I'm I supposed to respect certain boundaries to prevent a mute if I dont know them because they are different for each and every person on each and every game I play?
      The only type of player that dislikes having his stats public are the players that suck and cheaters

        Hmmmm , I remember discussing this in the past and people were divided on it because you know if it ain`t broke don`t fix it.

        The animation might look very weird or disconnected but having sniper standing two feet away while shooting also seems weird for some , but still it isn`t actually broken.In theory I would like to see this but I don`t want to see them out of place ,which I think might happen.

        If I have to add ,its probably most important not to change the animation drastically,this might get confusing for new players so the melee animation has to be partly consistent with the ranged animation.


        Once that could actually makes sense a bit are :
        Venomancer bites in melee.
        Ogre-magi clubs with his club as he already swings it with his current animation abilities.
        That it for me.

          If I'm a new player, and I see crystal maiden throwing herself to the ground and shaking her arms, I'll THINK she is actually DOING something, does that heal her? does it...do something to me?....does it...gives her a buff?

          I click her hero and read her skills....most of them sound...icy!....so which one of them is it?...is she turning her aura on and off? can she do that?....
