You can tell if they're new players or not by the time it took me to defeat them.

Example: Look at the Silencer Match: 14/0 in almost 30 minutes... it was way too easy. Now look at the Tinker one: 21/7 in 81 minutes... that was an excellent game. If one game takes you more than 40 minutes to end it, it means you had a good match, if not, you already know what's wrong.

    Hoping for her release.

It's been a year and change and people still think submitting anecdotal evidence that can't be verified is a legitimate argument against matchmaking?

My point isn't the spread, my point is a Valve dev calling that stomp a balanced game.

Once you click on accept match button your chances of winning will be 50% because everyone is equally skilled, your chance of winning will either drop down or rise up based on the picks, lanning, ganks, etc.. The game started fair, and ended up in someone winning fair, THAT'S a balanced game.

Now how does our MM system work?

Once you click on accept match button your chances of winning will either be extremely low, by putting you with new players vs experienced players, or extremely high, by matching you against less skilled players (such as this match 246572710 that fletcher called it a balanced game) The winning side is determined BEFORE the game even starts.

Who said I'm only remembering my lost games? I'm remembering every single game I played since this new MM system, including the wins. The complete stomp that fletcher called balanced, I won it 23/1/11 one death was by the enemy fountain, the enemy had no chance of winning at all. As I've said before, I'm not complaining about losing games, I'm complaining about all games turning into stomps.

Matchmaking is broken or non-existent from my experience. I don't have evidence, sorry, I have better things to do than do Valve's job for them. All I know is their game currently sucks and the MM algorithm is the reason why.

When a MM system is made by someone who considers stomps to be balanced games the only result of that MM system is horrible, imbalanced and waste of time games.

You played your most played hero and Bara is a known pub basher. At the same time the enemies had pretty farm dependent heroes.
It is no miracle that a ganking team with Slark and Bara can snowball hard.

Fletcher told you that there were two wide-range stacks and a solo in each team. If the enemies had picked stronger lanes or easier heroes the game might have been more even.

They could have easily countered Bara with wards, and me with dust and wards too. Did the enemy pick weaver against Slark + Shadow Shaman combo? Yes, that's their fault, not mine, picking and counter picking requires some skill. A couple of wards, dust, team play, and some ganks from Invoker and Lina could have made that game even, and they could have possibly won, but they didn't, and that what matters, what actually happened in the game, not what could have happened.
                Was that game balanced? No.

You know yourself how useful dust is against Slark

It's not the MM's fault that they couldn't afford a gem or observers. I usually play support for my team. I know how hard things can get.
You even bought a gem yourself and would have easily dewarded each observer with your ultimate.

However, that's not relevant. It's relevant that this game could have been even under different circumstances. Individual mistakes aside, the match making gave you a 50/50 game.
                  Was the game even? No.
Was the game balanced? Yes, because each team had the possibility to win this game.

If you can time it well, it's better than nothing.

Wards don't cost much, 3 camps and you just got your team 2 wards.

The Radiant didn't have a chance of winning at all, our chance of winning was higher than 50% before the game started, that's wrong.

It wasn't an even nor a balanced game, it was a stomp from the start.

Anyway, I'll play some games today and post the results in this thread.

Okay, played 4 games today, lost the first one with 8/8/10 highest XPM 520, and 2nd highest GPM, amy team blamed me for the loss and reported me. Played as Slark 253059199
Second game was really good, had most kills, least deaths and highest XPM, the entire team spoke English and they were all very friendly. The enemy Chaos Knight was obviously new, he's not a smurf for sure, I don't know why he was in that game. Played as Slark. 253080706
3rd game was a disaster, I was trying Alchemist, and I failed playing him, since I don't commonly play him 0/6/0 253112016
4th game was fun again, I was playing with a stack of 2 or 3 players, had most kills least deaths, everyone on my team was fun and friendly 253129290 Played as Slark.

In every single game there was at least one person that was negative through the entire match, but the matches are much better than what I played yesterday.
