    The evidence to prove mm is poor

    I found that most of my friends have a fluctuating win rate after the 18/7.
    Firstly, most of the games are single queue game.
    Before 18/7, the win rate is noraml, win matches > lose matches and nothing special

    After the update of mm and the hiding of wins, his win rate drop dramatically.

    In fact, the skill of a player will not be changed so much in a short period.
    These stats show that the mm are really poor and not make sense.

      Correlation does not imply causation. It's not evidence that MM is poor, it's purely conjecture. However, a lot of people (myself included) think that MM is a broken pile of shit that Valve will never fix.
      Let's make a game called Dota 2. You put 5 players on each team and then you mute 4 of them so they can't communicate. That way, we have a fucking clown festival in every single fucking game.

      Excellent system! Very smart! Well played! 5/5 would mute again.

              Again you strike a homerun! MM sucks for you because you suck in general and players are humans and humans sometimes troll/throw/feed a game. People above 55% after hundreds of games usualy stack together as 4-5 and pubstomp. Also people above 55% reaching 60% don't complain like you when they get a retard in their team because usualy they can't carry even with his failure.

                Maybe he got paired with more skilled players because he won most of the matches before?

                For me the patch didnt change anything. I always Solo Queue and I won most of my latest matches.
                Did the MM quality improve? Dont know. Need to play more matches. Last time they changed something (introduced solo queue) I thought it improved but then it went back to stomping matches. So this time I will wait until I post anything about MM quality.

                  In a limited number of cases this would be true, but the game is overflowing with examples like these nowdays.

                    A solution for all (including devs): ranked solo queue without visible mmr (instead brackets).

                      The only evidence we now have that PROVES how shitty the matchmaking system:....is the fact that valve is doing its best effort to hide any type of evidence we could use to prove (Or disprove) the theory of the MM system being CRAP and poorly balanced

                      Make a NON automated report system.
                      I would rather wait 10 minutes for a balanced, fun and exciting match that will last 1+ hours. Than wait 10 seconds for a poorly balanced crapmatch that will end in 30- minutes
                      Valve, How I'm I supposed to respect certain boundaries to prevent a mute if I dont know them because they are different for each and every person on each and every game I play?

                            I don't understand MM anymore...
                            In my last game I had a russian void and riki, void got a 12 minute midas and riki had a 33 min treads diffusal, there was a chilean Veno who couldn't speak english and complained about ping nonstop, we were getting absolutely wrecked early game but in the end we still won, even with a rax down :X http://dotabuff.com/matches/257154066 This is the third big comeback game I've had in recent times, MM just confuses me
