  • Help? New to DOTA 2

Can anyone tell me why my camera grip doesn't work when it's keybound to any key?

And is there a way where i can see ranges of my spells without hoovering over them? So i can actually see how far some spells go or is that not in dota?

    First off,
    enable console command...
    >Steam Library
    >Right click Dota 2
    >Properties
    >Set Launch Options
    >type "-console"

    Launch Dota 2
    " ` " is default console...

    type : "dota_disable_range_finder 0"
When your spell is selected the range finder should show...
the default is "1" that is why you have to put 0.

in addition, Dota 2 has denies too...
You should read the mechanics first or do the tutorials and bot games before you play a real game.
Community will be tough on you ;].

So if you want to last hit enemies and deny creeps without A+right click...
    you can do:
    "dota_force_right_click_attack 1"
this should let you deny your creeps..
    default is "0"

if you have more questions or you are really a beginner feel free to ask...
    but also visit

best way to play the game is to uninstall it right now. Once you are addicted to the concept of the game but find that the community and matchmaking system are all shit, you suffer for the rest of your life.
