  • Hats off to Valve

I never thought this Internationals would beat last years. Last years was reeeally epic, but good job valve, it was really amazing.

Now I just wish you would decide to hold the next in europe so that more of us get a shot at seeing this magnificent event live. Living in sweden, i've had to stay up till 6 am just to catch the games, and the cost of travelling to seattle is just too much.

Also, I'd kill for brunos wardrobe.

    +1

The biggest playerbase of Dota(2) is in Europe so it's kind of stupid to hold the TI in USA.

I stayed up last year as well for TI. This year I settled for watching replays the morning after, but it wasn't as exciting. Particularly when I accidentally read who had won TI3 before finishing the VODs.

            haha shit

Yeah that TI was pretty fucking insane. Not to forget ALL the interludes between the games; interviews of players/valve employees/voice actors. Also thought kaci did a pretty good job overall. Yep, it was fucking amazing.

Romania is in the top place for fast internet connections. If Valve considers coming to Europe, Bucharest has a good spot.
It's only a game, but people are real. You have to respect them.

I'm surprised they didn't meet their last compendium goal. Admittedly, I was one of the people who didn't buy one, as I thought it was a bit too expensive, and I don't care to support professional players with my own money.
The rewards were also quite lacking and uninteresting, and the whole "collect player cards" scheme reminded me of my time frantically collecting and trading pokemon cards, something that isn't particularly fun, nor really rewarding.
