It's a Development forum, people only come here to complain and nobody uses the search function.
    Welcome!

I will answer you, since in time the more people know about dev.dota2.com the more idiots it attracts, AND dont forget its a videogame so there are like 70% of people under 18 years. Just get over it enjoy the game then grow up enough to leave this game, thats how it works.

This thread gets recycled every couple of months by someone who wants to ride the developers' balls. The forums provide a noisy gauge of whether something is not working in the game. The number of threads created to complain about the automated mute system, for example, is directly proportional to how abusable the current system is. When there were two non-renewable reports per week, the number of threads went way down compared to when there were unlimited, 6, and 4 reports per week. But when the renewable system was first introduced, the number of threads spiked back up.

It's the same with matchmaking. The patches from last month messed something up. I was getting teammates (e.g. Sven) who were genuinely new, not DotA 1 veterans or smurfs, and who solo queued.

Another useless twit on a forum complaining, just what we needed. Only you are complaining about complainers, so we don't really need you at all. Goodbye!

As far as contributing, I've contributed a bug report that was previously unreported - so as far as value I'm pretty certain I've been of some value. Additionally this forum was designed to give feedback on the community and that did not exclude the forums.

well feedback on community doesnt really require a suggestion.

But also I think they meant community in dota 2 not this forum.

started a topic These forums have become a cesspool...

These forums have become a cesspool...

What happened? When did they become a magnet for idiots and people who just have a general disregard for what the Developers have done. One thread is enough to draw their attention to something - yet people spam the general board like mad. It's not even fun to browse these forums anymore.
Working...
