    Random gold in AP promotes abandon

    A lot of games lately where players will random (get a hero they dont like) and simply abandon in the first 5 mins. Doesn't help that this is f2p and making unlimited accounts is possible.

    Fair point, but it's not that Widespread, not that many people will make more than three or four accounts with most not making more than a backup if even. I haven't even heard of people abandoning just because they randomed a hero they can't play

      I don't understand why they don't just
      A) swap with a team mate. Just because you don't like it, does not mean everybody does.
      B) Bite the bullet and repick. Sure you start some gold down, but it isn't the end of the world.

      Just such a pain in the ass when people abandon at the drop of a hat.

          Had it happen earlier today, it was obvious the guy wasn't going to come back but we were forced to go through the motions of laning just in case he did

              Random gold promotes trying different heros, they abandon because they suck, any guy who can play most of the heros well will tell you that you can make wonders with the extra 250g.
              If got a carry free qb, stout,
              If got a support a gift of tangoes to your carry and free ward,
              Hitting the jungle/offlane with a complete sr
              Solo mid with bottle AND stats

                So you can only play if you have an inherent advantage over someone else? Sounds similar to the guy abandoning because he "sucks"

                  the inherent advantage also comes from picking a hero you are particularly good at, so what if that guy randomed a sniper
