The guy is not a dota 2 admin ffs . We don't have ingame admins .
He is a valve employee.
We have a flawed automated report system .
And that's the system this employee should obide by. Since its his system . If he doesn't believe in the system , then change it, don't go around handing 1500 mute bans and 150 hours of low priority to every other person who calls you a noob .

I have no sympathy for the punished player and here is my reasoning: The Text/Voice Abuse Report system was there to report those who were abusing with text/voice. Theoretically, offenders were meant to be punished, however, in an average game there are no valve employees playing the games so it would take time for the staffs to look through the reports and finally punishing the offender. But in this case it is a Valve employee who has witnessed this offense so action could be taken automatically. Based on my logic, ALL text/voice abusers are worthy of being punished, if any offender gets away with this then they are just lucky because the other players are being nice about not reporting or too lazy to report him/her. You could say the Valve employee took this personally but the offenders was indeed wrong and here's the logic: I hate someone and I saw him/her stealing something from a store and I called the cops.

I do agree that the current report system is very broken and could be abused but this claim would be off-topic.

I do not feel sorry about being muted for 2 months nor you being put into LP, for it is not my concern: you are the one to feel sorry about yourself and take this as a lesson and go think about what you did was wrong and never do it again.

If you believe he deserves this punishment I can think of at least thousands who I have encountered who deserve more. If that person is an admin and is punishing everyone . This might be toleratable . But he isn't an admin , the system is automated . Plz use all your mental functions before you reply . Not just here, but in life in general .

The thousands are lucky they haven't been seen by an employee/admin yet AND may not have flamed for a long time AND they have not been asked to stop PERSONALLY by an employee. How do you know the employee doesn't do this to every similar flamer he sees? And still, you can argue all you want, it won't change anything. for me i dont like how many times i've encountered assoholes but unable to do anything and a valve employee gets to ban someone for two months? (the norm is like 3 days communication ban or something) whereas us the people have to use a shitty report system.

1) i think it was okay the employee punished him but the punishment was kind of overboard. however, it's not like they provided us a chat log so we don't really know how bad it is was...
2) the employee gets to ban people in his games but what about people like me who encounter assholes lol. if i pm him the employee, he will just ignore me so if he really wanted to rid the game of "flamers" why not do something for everyone rather than just punish the ppl who flame him. it feels like the employee is kind of selfish and is abusing his power even though im glad theres one less asshole playing.

Let's assume that the player "The Fallen" was the crime who broke into the house and the the Valve Employee is the house owner [also a cop], based on your reasoning the house owner should've arrested the crime but instead he shot the crime which you believe it is wrong [the abuse]. Well then allow me to explain this to you that it is under the law that the house owner has the right to defend him/herself if a somebody invades your property. So what happened in the game was that "The Fallen" was cussing in one of the games where a Valve Employee was also in it, and you could be punished for cussing. And having to know the FACT that you could get punished for cussing, Valve Employee brought him to justice.

If this is too hard for you to understand allow me to make clear: If you break into my house I reserved the right to blow your heads off with my Finger of Death. Sure we will call the liars, if what they say is "everything is ok with the game, it is completed, the MM is awesome, the report system is not automated, we fixed all bugs, we ported all heroes" etc.
