Anyway again the point is DBR is not accurate as it was shit as it was using MMR ratings which at that time were shit. After it was blocked the next 5 or 6 months Valve made huge reworks to MM and even went as far to experiment with Solo queue options.

some of the most shallow/egregious nonsense any company has ever had the audacity to spew. There are two primary demographics that Dota 2 players fall in: players who play with the explicit purpose of winning the game, and players who play for any other reason. That both of these demographics are dumped into the same matchmaking pool with no say in the matter is a testament to the fact that Valve will not ever, in a million years, add any feature to Dota 2 that does not have a profit margin that is comparable to cosmetic items. If you're still waiting for a ladder mode or anything that allows you to be placed with like-minded players your best option is to start brainstorming how to monetize whatever feature you have in mind and then proceed to get it on the front page of Reddit, which is the single, solitary outlet for feedback that Valve devs look at.

There is some problem back there that WebAPI is insufficiently advanced enough for their data logging (not being a developer myself, I have no idea)
But the largest problem we have now is lack or no communication between valve and us. I still have no idea until now why valve decided to kill dotabuff from their side, most of them is user comment that say about conspiracy theory about time logging and that stuff and they are illegal contraband and that thing. The only explanation that we got is they doesn't want DBR misled people about their MMR, and even then we get it from inferring gaben comment at a university interview. Mute system? Nope. no answer. LPQ? Little to no? A single comment that assures us that they are working on a new hero instead of cosmetics? None. How about LAN? They already said they will implement it last year, we have the technology now, but no implementation and no response. Any comment about all that hero hud change? none.

Stratification of the community into two groups will only cause longer que times and worse matchups however, especially in lower population areas.

HoN has less players, but lower queue times and better matches.

With different saturation on each server (EUw may contain 30k, and the remaining 10k spread across remaining servers)
further stratified with each region by a number of factors, including but not limited to
Language selection
Game modes selected
MMR
Solo que and stack mm

You're suggesting adding a further level of stratification, how would this do anything but slow que times and reduce match quality?
