MMR gain/loss on abandons is not fair or accurate.

Even worse, what if you didn't get any points!
Shouldn't lose points and enemy team should only gain a few points.

Person that left should get -200 points if not more to create a incentive to not leave.

No, it doesn't. Match duration makes no difference, it's only the matter of how much better/worse (at the lack of a better term) the other team is. My friend had a 40 min game after which he gained 5 rating.

EDIT: also from what I have heard someone abandoning makes no difference in the points lost/earned, it's the balance of the match and the points are predetermined regardless of what happens in the game (abandons or w/e).

its retarded to lose a game because at 20 mins someone rages and leaves or disconnects for any reason and i end up loosing 30 points of mmr.

Well for starters I highly doubt you lost 300 mmr when someone abandoned on your team.

Yes you SHOULD lose mmr if someone on your team was beaten so badly by the enemy or insulted by his own team so much that he felt the need to rage and quit the game. That means your team lost and the other team won. Deal with it
