  • [Suggestion]Notification when someone mutes you

I find it quite dull that you cannot know if you were muted or not. I encounter myself raging maybe too much and then not knowing if I've been muted or not. I would like to know when I am muted so I can get some feedback, probably most of my words are not even read but I am anyway typing them.

Also I would get feedback on how much do people want to follow advices, like "LC don't go midas, we need you online ASAP,for that u are better off picking furion".

    The notification should be anonymous.

It's not liked reports get processed individually, it's all automated. Ergo report is always justified

The think the OP (and myself) were referring to the in-game mute system and not reports.

I stopped reporting people for flaming (unless it's exceptionally terrible) and save my reports for intentional feeding/throwing because it's more infuriating to get into LPQ compared to getting muted. Furthermore, you can't dodge LPQ anymore.

You should know who muted you, it's useful that way, but it may also result in some reports, but mostly people let it slide, i actually always told people when i muted them(after infinite reports were gone) to refocus their attention on the game, so they know it's pointless, i never got punished, rarely they told me they mute me as well, as a sign defiance, but almost none of them ended up doing it, because once they couldn't fight me they might as well follow me, and the team.

I for one would consider reporting auto mute guys, they should have their own game option, which is valves fault, good luck trying to lead a team of strangers when there is a guy who starts the game by muting everyone then doing whatever he feels like, also goes without saying you should never play a game with those who you have previously muted.

Like in LPQ everyone who has LPQ will show message in-game. Why not just add text showing who is muted? So that people wouldn't rage to those whom can't write/speak.

Achtung! You have a right to report over sized images and moderators may delete them.

And muting everyone is cool? What game are you playing?
We should be announced in some way that a player ignored (me).
It won't result in reporting since muting for no reason (and losing game) is worth reporting.

True.. at least you're forced to grind it out. Better than switching to another account and pretending the punishment didn't exist..

Am i the only one seeing an issue here?
Every time i mute a player, he gets a warning msg? If that is what OP meant, than let the "mute msg spam war" begin i would say xD
If you find spelling errors, you are free to take them.

Haha I never thought of that. That would be hilariously annoying.

I would keep muting one as a secret.
