  • Multiple Reports In One Match Do Not Stack? FALSE

I've only been muted 3 times in all my 2000 hours of Dota 2. This time whilst playing Solo Q, I was matched vs a 4 man stack. They didn't like it when I spoke back to them so they all reported me. Low and behold, in my next game I have a 24 hour Chat Ban. Funny thing was though, we beat them so badly in our 3 main team fights that after the 3rd fight, 4 of them rage quit, leaving the one solo guy behind who quickly apologised for their behaviour.

So this leads me to a conclusion that multiple reports Do and ARE stacking in a single match. Perhaps 'Feeding' and 'Intentional Ability Abuse' reports do not stack in a match but Communication Abuse reports DEFINATELY do. Can we get this patched please, Valve?

Not everyone who reports you says it in at all chat.

The unseen report is the most deadly one.

Im still not convinced multiple Comms Reports aren't stacking in a single match. It's no co-incidence after we beat them so badly. It's pure and simple false spite reports that got me this 24 comms ban. Might jump on my smurf account for tonight. Angry nerd kiddies can go do one.

Still wondering why I was matched to a 4 man stack in Solo Q in the first place... wtf Valve. Sh*t system is sh*t

Taking the fact that this can't be proven wrong nor right into account, I don't see why we're discussing this.

Wouldn't take much effort for Valve to test and see if Comms reports are stacking in one match.

I think we all know that Valve doesn't really care, they won't bother.

Do you actually think this is a conclusive experiment on report accumulation? I hope you don't consider furthering your studies in academics.

I'm on a 2-week break from gaming. If I were to shit talk as hard as I could in my first game after coming back I wouldn't end up being muted simply because report accumulation expires after some time (requirement for mute: x number of reports within y number of days/matches).

90% of the time when I report somebody I don't tell them a word about it.

Yep, and you don't even have to be a dick to me for me to report you. Talk shit to the guy who obviously doesn't know what hes doing and is new isn't going to make him not be a noob.

Because programming it isn't enough for them to know if it do or not.
