I said you didn't put any thought forward as to how region locking affects the community globally, which is clearly demonstrated by your responding "I don't care" when presented to the fact that several players are forced to play in foreign servers due to ping issues. A clear cop out to the fact you just didn't know about it.

Like I said, I agree communication in dota is an important aspect. The question is: Does improving communication in solo ranked matches warrants impeding the whole community from playing with one another? The answer is no.

Even when and if all players get good regional servers, it still doesn't warrant region locking because a few players can't figure out that they're still playing casually, even on ranked, as long as they're not playing in a 5-man stack and shouldn't expect perfect matches 24/7.

Can't argue this point if you're completely oblivious to the different metas around the world.

You were asking for an "intelligent discussion" and now that this is not up for discussion? Alright mate. Seeing as how this is probably region lock request #2567356 that gets ignored, I wouldn't hold my breath on Valve adding the feature.

We're users giving you the counterarguments for your proposal, for which you've done little to reply to. You simply weren't up for any discussion.

It matters little, as soon as this gets buried into the second+ pages of this forum, we'll all forget you made these dumb statements.

I'm not disagreeing that team communication is an important part of dota. I'm disagreeing with the notion that you (or whoever else comes here making the same claim) not being satisfied with your pub matches warrants a change that affects the whole dota community negatively.

Sure, mate. Tournaments will be real exciting when players only know how to deal with their own region's meta.

As clearly demonstrated by your inability to reason that such glaring flaws on your ideas would lead to others quickly disagreeing with you and getting your thread scraped in less than a day. My condolences to anyone who has to deal with you on a dialy basis.

At the end of the day, the topic of region locking has already been discussed to death. Unsurprisingly, you're not bringing anything new to that discussion. Hopefully a mod will close this thread and that'll be the last we hear about your shitty trains of thought.
And I thought Stellar Bull was bad. Does the dota 2 forum community produce unintelligence by truck or boatload?

You people can't look more than 2 feet in front of your faces.

You say I put no thought forward, then immediately comment on your agreement regarding team communication. Indecision much?

People like you find disagreements like squirrels find nuts. It wouldn't matter if I said 2+2=4 you'd still disagree. Are you Stellar Bull's father?

Inevitably, posting in a forum means the trolls come out to play, and 10 people screaming are louder than a thousand people in silence, doesn't make those 10 people correct, usually just means those thousand people have better things to do than bother with discussing matters with idiots on the internet. Something I should stop doing now because it's turned into a waste of my time, though I hoped it wouldn't.

You and Stellar Bull have no say in anything, you're not employees, devs, or whatever... you're just trolls working to derail yet another thread, and I'm going to stop encouraging that behavior.

Hopefully the devs get the message from the OP and ignore the blathering from the rest of you, I'm out.

I'm right in my OP, and you disagreeing makes you wrong. Communication is key in winning dota, and current language issues are a massive problem. Disagreeing with this just makes you a fool.
