If Valve can make LPQ such a shitty environment that they can force 5 different players that were sent to LPQ to cooperate to end a game as quickly as possible while stalling it till the 15th minute mark, then I have to admit this is quite hilarious

Next step is increasing it to 25 minute matches only, if it even works with the 15 minutes mechanic right now I guess

I too would love some info on how long the match has to be to count

I think its absurd that players are forced to play MORE Dota (5 games) if they end up in the LPQ. The old system was better - a timed cooling off period. In Hockey or Soccer you get sent off the playing field/ice rink for bad conduct - that way the player gets time to think about their actions and realise what they did was wrong. In Dota you no longer get that cooling off period and rage and frustration will carry on building up during those 5 forced LPQ matches. Therefore, Valve's solution is utterly self-defeating.

The problem with the old system was that people just played on their smurfs while they were in LPQ, ruining some more games. Right now if you want to get your main acc out of LPQ, you need to suffer those games.
              Possible solution to foreigners issue

No it is not. When people hit low prio, they just switched to a different account.

And I don't get this coop bot 15 min solution.
Leaving normal/ranked games should be type 1 low prio.
Leaving coop bot games should be type 2 low prio.

They should be independent. So you can not cool off your low prio from leaving coop games in normal/ranked or vice versa.

No thanks. I think low prio is something absurd.i have internet problems or my pc crashes and it's MY FAULT ? I have to suffer for something I didn't do ? Real leavers should be punished. That's why we need a LPQ appeal system. I find several solutions :

                    1. Remove LPQ. Create a different way of punishing. A limites time ban for example. If you are complaining about smurfs , you can always ban IP.

                    2. Create LPQ appeal system. Handled by players and devs.

                    3. Switch back to limited time LPQ . Make it longer. If people play on different accounts they won't be able to play ranked and will have to play with newbies. If the IPs of the accounts match after many abandonments, result in ban.

Yes its your problem if you crash.

1.) ip ban in year 2014? yeh totally gona work (use a new dns and you are back online)
                      2.) tribunal anyone?*
                      3.) see 1.)

*i douped that valve will ever add some thing like this because the shear amount of reports is just to great to be even remotely watchable

This is mainly because it's easy to abuse the current system.

About the rest. I'm pretty sure that there are bans that go further than your IP. It is just like the viruses : A new one is created , the databases are updated (please do not expand this , I don't want to talk about conspiracies).

Yes, your fault. Why should 9 other random player suffer for your bad internet?

                          1. This shows you have no idea about real world. There is NAT, there are cafés and there are dynamic IPs. IP ban only causes issues; it doesn't solve anything.

                          2. It would have served a purpose during the massive lpq system. Not now. LPQ system is working quite ok. No need to spend resources on this massive feature instead of something other in the game.

                          3. Yes, because punishing newbies is a good idea.
Yes, because IPs can not be easily faked.
Yes, because playing from a café is a crime.

"no one after use will ever be able to solve this problem" If i hear this, i could throw up.

We could solve this with a new system that is semi automated (yeh tribunal) but there is no reason for valve to invest resource on adding this since the current system is good (not perfect but it works as it should)
