I did it for all my LP games. You can end the game in 4 mins with nature's prophet, luna, beast master, leshrac, and lone druid

I got into LPQ from a d/c after this new system and while it sucks to have to play the games completely in a way it's kind of nice. Since they are unranked and LPQ matches most people don't give a shit what you do or what you pick. It's a good chance to play heroes you normally wouldn't or take risks with heroes that you normally do play. The pressure of a ranked match is gone so it can be a little bit more fun. The only downside I experienced was getting grouped with a 3 pack of players(obviously in middle or high school) who were obviously new to the game (they had maybe one or two commends) and when I told them I would solo offlane with BB and they should trilane they acted like I was retarded and proceeded to spend the next 10 minutes making 'mom' jokes. Of course I just muted them and went about my business.

Having said that, I'm not sure if having fun during your punishment is really what they want to accomplish. While I didn't get to play ranked for a few hours it was far more fun playing those full matches than doing the bot rush down mid. So it's basically longer ban and more fun(in my eyes) or shorter ban and less fun.

          But muh hatz!

Seriously, there are people who get really butthurt when they don't have a 20% chance of getting a free common.

LOL! That didn't even register to me..I forgot I don't even get BP till you mentioned that, which I could care less about too :-). Either way, bot match or not, I don't think you get hats so it doesn't matter. Just your frequency of hats decreases...boo hoo ;-)

              What is the problem again?

If anything, I have seen plenty of trashtalkers in current system. So it is not strict enough...

                  1. Remove LPQ. Create a different way of punishing. A limites time ban for example. If you are complaining about smurfs , you can always ban IP.

                  2. Create LPQ appeal system. Handled by players and devs.

                  3. Switch back to limited time LPQ . Make it longer. If people play on different accounts they won't be able to play ranked and will have to play with newbies. If the IPs of the accounts match after many abandonments, result in ban.
Yes it is your internet and it is your fault ! Simple as that !

In some Dota 1 platforms you wouldn't even have LP you would be banned totaly from playing 1/2/3/5..etc days !

Play offlane against bots if you do not have internet that won't ruin games for other people.

And IMO system should be even more strict for people who get into low priorty for flame or game ruining,feeding..etc

And thats the problem with free-to-play games, you can open unlimited number of new accounts.

This type of topic ultimately boils down to the root problem - when the game is free, players dont behave as they have nothing to lose.

In Hockey or Soccer you get sent off the playing field/ice rink for bad conduct - that way the player gets time to think about their actions and realise what they did was wrong. In Dota you no longer get that cooling off period and rage and frustration will carry on building up during those 5 forced LPQ matches. Therefore, Valve's solution is utterly self-defeating.

This is so dumb to compare to real sports. If one of their own teammates "fed" on purpose, Im pretty sure that guy would get the shit beat out of him.
lpq is well deserved and i like that it forces people to play more games. Its actual incentive to not be a retard in real matches.

Valve is not my mom. They're not going to teach me how to behave.

Sure you don't need to change yourself but you will play more with people similar to you,not some co-op shit.

I don't play on weekends, which would mean that I can leave the last game on friday with no consequences. Good job.

And if they couldn't have multiple accounts they would play another game, it has little to do with the game being free.
