I don't really understand code, and from what it says I'm wondering what "Poor network conditions" exactly means. Obviously it was a server problem, because all my friends also playing at the time dced as well. The funny thing was, different people dced at different times, as in the case of my game. I have had cases where everyone was suddenly kicked and could not reconnect, only for the game to show up with no stats recorded. That's completely fine. But then why is this game different? I've asked a couple of my friends and they said their games also got recorded as well.

There is already some code in the game, that lets us see that valve things about this
(code that i´m referring to is this)
+ "DOTA_Chat_MatchWillNotBeScoredNetwork" "Poor network conditions have been detected. No stats will be recorded for this match. Matchmaking rating (MMR) will not be updated."

I'm pretty much sure that if they didn't make any effort you wouldn't be here talking about an unlucky disconnect in your last game of DotA2.

    Not happy

I was just playing a ranked match and Steam started acting up. 3 players on my team and 2 on the enemy team dropped at the same time and took them a long, long time to reconnect. After another couple of minutes the same 5 people dropped again and this time never came back. I admit I didn't want to leave and was tryhard rat doto-ing 2v5 but I think I was quite successful. Just after I got a lane of rax, I lost connection to the servers as well and tried many times to reconnect, but of course I wasn't able to because of Steam acting up and losing connection to the servers. When I FINALLY got connection again the game was finished and I was considered to have a loss, and also lost MMR because of it.

Now, I wouldn't be here complaining if it was a normal match. I'm not trying to ask for the lost MMR back or change it to a win status, since the outcome was still yet to be decided, but I think there should be some countermeasures for players who are already in-game and could not finish the game due to problems with the servers. Has any effort been made to change this, or, if not, will someone make the effort?

Match ID 558706117. I was Terror. (Sorry, I'm not sharing dotabuff or any other stats.)
