  • Item/Courrier Abuse

The most common thing people do when they get angry with a person for any reason I've found is to wait until they are using the courier then dump their items in a random spot on the map. Often you're busy when you're calling the courier or didn't see where the items were dumped, or they dumped the items where the enemy can destroy them. THIS RUINS GAMES

A player who doesn't own an item shouldn't be able to dump them anywhere except for inside the fountain or upload them to the purchaser's stock.

This is a SIMPLE fix that removes one of the most egregious forms of griefing.

It would also make sense to limit the purchase to tripple the cooldown on the courier to stop courier spam. Also to limit the Number of couriers per side to say 4.

Give each player his own 6 slots which can be controlled by the player only.

I've thought about that but I dont think that is a balanced solution. It doesnt happens in W3C DotA and I dont think its technically possible to do it in there. So I dont think they'll ever do it here (as this is supposed to be a port, and that is quite an important change

I did some recommendations to fix this in this other post:
        http://dev.dota2.com/showthread.php?t=131807
Make a NON automated report system.
I would rather wait 10 minutes for a balanced, fun and exciting match that will last 1+ hours. Than wait 10 seconds for a poorly balanced crapmatch that will end in 30- minutes
Valve, How I'm I supposed to respect certain boundaries to prevent a mute if I dont know them because they are different for each and every person on each and every game I play?
The only type of player that dislikes having his stats public are the players that suck and cheaters

          The bottom line is:

Valve doesn't care about your "problems with the game". They're making money. They don't care.

Nah limit the # of courriers in a game and lengthen the cooldown after there is 2 on one side.
