  • Matchmaking problem - 4 new players

    My hero : Razor

    Now, I just played a game as razor; I noticed my teammates dieing unneccesarely much. After quite some deaths I got a bit angry, started telling them to start playing careful.
    After a while I was wondering since it didnt seem like these people were just *playing* bad but like they were actually new as they had no clue what to do.
    I checked their profile, all 4 of them seemed to have less than 10 games played (Although I couldn't see for sure that since valve made the total wins hidden.)

    Now I think this is something that should never happen; I've got 2.8k games played and ~4.1k MMR ranked so I honestly doubt I'm actually bad enough to be in the new player bracket.

    Now about my complaint, granted the other team was also worse; however they managed to actually play together, in my team they were just running into creeps and dieing from it. So I had to come back to defend pushes by myself every time so I couldnt get anything useful done.

    I'd like to see this fixed so this kind of games happen again.

    Ps. To the mods, I know theres a general feedback thread on matchmaking but I feel like this doesnt quite fit in there as it's not "general", normally my matchmaking games go just fine.

    wow those stats. 4 meks in 4k mmr wtf. 3 carries on other team. I guess since max us mmr is like 7k (and max sea is like 6.3k), that would scale to australian mmr of about 3.5-3.7k. Still.

    tbh the only 3 item and skill builds that are normal at about that mmr is razor, drow and mirana. SS didn't get hex when no enemy team player had bkb.

    I hate to break it to you but your team (except u and maybe dp) were bots or something like that. Did they communicate at all?

      They were new players, one of them even said it was their first game.

        mod will be close this thread, because ANY claims about shit work of MM system autoclosed vice-versa. Valve don't want see like these threads on this forum in any context.

          Well I can't post it anywhere else.
          The match wasnt one-sided as I was good enough to make up for my teammates up until a certain extend; however I couldnt deal with it if the enemy split up and pushed so I can't post it in the "one-sided match thread"
          Nor does it fit in general feedback, since it's not general.

            You're allowed to post feedback, in the damn stickies, but it seems that you are either unable to read or don't want to read the rules. If people would do so we wouldn't have to close anything.
