  • New Patch, LPQ games not decreased

SO yesterday before the patch i went into LPQ (i flame a lot) 16 games BAM so i played 1 game and was left with 15 (i think that was the time between the patch) and i read that all of accounts have been reset with 5 LPQ games. So i loging now just to find that i have 15 LPQ remaining what happened? Why didn't this apply to me ?

    My profile http://steamcommunity.com/id/sickjoce/

    Dotabuff http://www.dotabuff.com/players/83682089

Its funny how i get a lot of games in LPQ just because im better than the players, ~ havent abandoned a game in over 9 months..

Here is what i observed in order to not get reported to low-priority. If the game is a total stomp and you are on the receiving end, do not, I repeat: do not, go afk. People are getting really mad about afking for some stupid reason. I assume they think they are Dendi and because they are on your team, you have still a chance to win even if their inferior plays got you in this situation in the first place. So you "play on", meaning you farm a lane, totally oblivious to the minimap and die repeatedly. For some reason, getting ganked while ignoring pings and wards you got on the map is acceptable behavior, so use that knowledge to your advantage and encourage the enemy team to push because they picked you off. Whilst "throwing" you should not use the in-game chat. Just don't or people get upset and report you. I would even suggest not using the chatwheel, but if you want to at your own risk, please do so. As far as I can tell it's not that report-inducing as the in-game chat.

The best situation you can have is the "let's try one more time"-situation. Easy to throw, just fuck up real bad in the teamfight. "Misclick" your instacast, miss your skillshot, use spells on the wrong targets. If your team still wins the fight, you should play on normally because it means that the enemy team is horrendous and you have a shot at this game. Don't worry, this never happens.
The worst case is when you have zero relevant (flaming each other does not count) communication for the whole match and your team is not showing any signs of giving up. It's hard to evaluate the madlevel of your allies and thus it's hard to judge how hard you can "throw" without being reported. I would suggest being useless in general, so play like most people play supports: run around the map and try not to accomplish anything. You can farm the easy camp 50minutes into the game, you can solo smoke in a spot that you think is warded by the enemy, you can try to put an "aggressive" ward so you have an excuse to wander deep behind enemy lines and get killed or you can (my best trick) buy some sentries and deward really slowly so the enemy team has plenty of time to kill you off. Be creative, but don't be useful.

I was in low-priority because of reports twice so far and every time I got the punishment, I was not following my own rules. From now on, I stick to it and just accept the -25 without resisting. Autoloss is autoloss.

    Good luck.

I don't think u understand, I'm well aware why i'm in LPQ (i mean yeah i FLAME a fucking fuckton) tho i think mute would solve that and that is it, My question is why my LPQ games haven't been lowered to 6 like everyone else like the patch intended?

Yes, as much as I hate doing that, but grinding low-priority matches is tedious =(
