  • What happened to Noo?

Picking through the forum I noticed that Noo was banned. From what I remember when I was more active on this forum, he was quite the contributor to the bugs list. What the hell happened to this guy? Just look at his past posts; http://dev.dota2.com/search.php?searchid=3979475

Did he go crazy or something?

Yep he went crazy. He spammed the whole forum with Zorjeff (don't ask). There were literally at least 4 pages of him making Zorjeff threads.
    Then he was banned.

You can still find him on Reddit doing more questionable posts.

You can't link to searches for whatever reason. Anyway, apart from GermanViets explanation I talked to Noo via Steam. He said "why not?", seems like he was simply bored and he had fun spamming. Whatever.
If you think I've closed or deleted a post unjustified, feel free to PM me and I'll explain it to you/discuss it with you further.

        Why he quit Dota:

Or you should stop playing haram games.

From magic, to false Gods, to sexualisition and BDSM, to playing as the devil. Dota and LoL are clearly haram to play. "It's just a video game" is one of the dumbest statements I've ever heard, please don't reply with that.

If you truly respect and fear God, you can't play a video game that has lines like this:

        http://hydra-media.cursecdn.com/dota...s_spawn_04.mp3

        http://hydra-media.cursecdn.com/dota...s_spawn_08.mp3

        http://hydra-media.cursecdn.com/dota...s_death_06.mp3

        http://hydra-media.cursecdn.com/dota...uus_win_04.mp3

All these are lines said by the false God Zeus.

Here we have the devil, telling us how he'll slice throats and gore people with his horns, how Islamic.

Just because you don't believe in them doesn't make them halal. The fact is God is being mocked in front of you, and you don't care slightly about that.

If a video game insulted your family, would you also sit in front of a screen for hours enjoying that game?

        > Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, said, "Man's feet will not move on the Day of Resurrection before he is asked about his life, how did he consume it, his knowledge, what did he do with it, his wealth, how did he earn it and how did he dispose of it, and about his body, how did he wear it out."

What do you think is going to happen on judgement day? God is going to just be OK with you having shirk, the greatest sin being displayed in front of you while you laugh and enjoy some worthless video game?

        > I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, say, “Whosoever of you sees an evil, let him change it with his hand; and if he is not able to do so, then [let him change it] with his tongue; and if he is not able to do so, then with his heart — and that is the weakest of faith.” [Muslim]

You saw the greatest evil in front of you, but not only you didn't change it, you pursued it and spent God knows how many weeks and months consuming that evil.

*"It's just a game"* that insults God and mocks him.

*"It's just a music video"* that shows people fornicating.

*"It's just a song"* that's making fun of Islam.

*"God doesn't care about these stuff"* He sure does

        > And everything they did is in written records.

        > And every small and great [thing] is inscribed. 54:52-53

There's plenty of fun to be had that doesn't involve haram, stuff that will actually help you in real life, instead of a video game.

If he used to be a normal guy who suddenly turned nuts, I would be 99% sure he is actually from the US.
