  • New reward system: after every game u get some gold instead of chance for item.

    New reward system:

1.After every game u get some gold instead of chance for an item.

    2.Amount of gold depends on:

-time of game (longer game - more gold) UPDATE: more gold for longer game is count only to 90 minute and winning the game is more profitable than the time.

-winning/losing (another reason to try win the game)

-your account lvl (system rewards regular players)

-active "favor" collectors - increase your gold reward for 150%, 300% etc. (in every business u have to invest some money to get more)

    3.Gold is tradable and marketable

    4. Items bought for gold are tradable and marketable.

    5. Gold can be used to buy items in dota 2 shop or to reduce its prices. UPDATE:Not all items from shop can be bought. Valve every month chose 100 sets and 10 treasures and only these items you can buy using gold.

    6. New reward system could work as favor in "Wraith Night" - everyone get some gold but players with active favors get more.

    7. Favors to increase gold (to buy in the shop) save Valve from leaking money

    8. To prevent farming bots: Your acount have to be minimum 8/15/20 lvl to earn gold, if it will not be enough and bots will be still big issue - additionally your account have to be full active on steam (This is a last resort).

    9. You dont get gold if u abandoned the game or if u play in low prio.

    10. Gold reward with extra bonus could be added to special custom games made by Valve for Haloween, Frostivus, New Bloom.

I think this system is more interesting and practical than the present. What u think ? Its only idea, but maybe u like it

I like this system, but... it will work only in perfect world, but not in Dota2 community.

These 3 rules (guaranteed recieving, open for trade and great potential of earnings) will bring thousands of bots to farm gold.

ok I forgot about one more rule:

      8. To prevent farming bots: Your acount have to be minimum 8 lvl to earn gold, if it will not be enough - additionally your account have to be full active on steam (one payment to your steam wallet).

Hell no, I'm playin dota2 since 2012 (closed beta) and i didnt buy anything for few years. So my account would be disabled (from drops and buying items with gold) just bcs i didnt buy something from steam even im playin it for 3 years now? lol.....

Just raise minimum level of account to something like 20 etc.

This is only idea. I think first of all should be only account lvl restriction (maybe 8, 15, or 20) and if bots farming gold will be big issue then full steam account additional restriction could be added.

I make some change to this system. Maybe with this rule Valve could approve it.

+1 on suggestion, forgot to say that in previous post hehe (just dont let rule to be only donation accounts). There are many other ways to remove bots if "that" happen.

Tbh anything is better than current system... It's like every 50th game you get 1 item and its probably only common / uncommon / rare which cant be traded.
Trade lost sense in dota when they added no-tradeable items, so only people who donate / buy item can trade? too much greedy valve?

Anyway great suggestion, hope they accept it in any way.

I think you won't starve if you spent like 10$ one time. + level increase will do nothing because of bots. Bots can play more than a normal person like 24/24 they will increase in level in 1 week? ... + even those 10$ let's say won't be enough.

There should be something like, active account. Did you talk to your friends lately? did you play anything else in steam? "even a free2play game" Is really hard. + valve dosen't care about this .They care only about pro tournaments and how to make more money.
