  • WHY A GAME FINALIZATION CANNOT BE JUDGED BY PERFORMANCE OF THE GAME?

Smurfing or boosting in Dota 2 ranked matchmaking is a common thing already. We know many people always do that. But my question is, WHY A GAME FINALIZATION CANNOT BE JUDGED BY PERFORMANCE OF THE GAME? I believe a lot of people who read this want to know what do I meant by the "judged by performance." because it is a way to reduce more cancerous and smurfing players. How? Easy only but I really wonder why developer VALVE never do it.

Eg: If the winner of a ranked game always achieve around 30 mmr per game, then why don't make the mmr to have a fixed base score number for the winner? Let's say 20 is the base score for the winner. If the winner performs by breaking through one lane only and break one rax, and end the game immediately, which always been done by smurfers/boosters, then they will achieve base score only, and the opposite side will get deduction of lesser MMR also, based on number of rax can be defended.

Examples as following for "winning side":
    1. Gain 20 mmr is used as the base score if winner will break in one or more lanes but never break down both rax of any broken lane (melee & range).
    2. Gain 25 mmr if break in one lane and destroy both rax of the lane, which means winner successful to get Super Creeps for pushed lane.
    3. Gain 30 mmr if break in two lanes and destroy both rax of the both lanes, which means winner successful to get Super Creeps for both pushed lanes.
    4. Gain 35 mmr if break in three lanes and destroy both rax of the three lanes, which means winner successful to get Super Creeps for three pushed lanes.
Note: Technically, the winner must destroy both rax, the melee & range (as mission) of the lane they are breaking through in order to achieve the extra positive +5. Else, the winner will get 20 mmr only.

Examples as following for "losing side":
    1. Lose 35 mmr if fail to defend both rax of the three broken lanes.
    2. Lose 30 mmr if fail to defend both rax of the two broken lanes.
    3. Lose 25 mmr if fail to defend both rax of the one broken lanes.
    4. Lose 20 mmr if successful to defend either rax of the one broken lane when losing.
Note: Technically, the loser can reduce their penalty score on penalty if they successful to defend one rax of the one broken lane.

From here you can see, this is not a crazy idea, but it can help the defeated players to be able in climbing the ranked games in different way although they lost their games and have been facing against smurfers or boosters. Let's say a smurfer or booster ending the game by destroying through one lane and break one rax only, then he will get 20 mmr only as he want to end fast? However, the loser who been defeated still achieve less penalty, which is negative 20 mmr only instead of negative 35. I believe this method can give more pressures against the smurfers or boosters to quit or get-off from spoiling the games unfairly, and help to give less pressure against those who hardly climbing the games against smurfs/boosters. When smurfers/boosters are playing for a longer game, it can give better chances for players to get their heroes ready in battling against smurfers/boosters.

May update if any wrong. Please correct me if any part wrong. Thanks.

    What your think about it?

    Bump post...
If winner can make that "victory" in order to achieve MMR for their ranking, then why loser cannot make that "defended" in order to reduce loss of MMR in their ranking? That's the reason why I think players who make a lose or being defeated should be given some chances to protect their MMR by using their performance in the previous game.
