  • Not enough reports available for toxic players

As I wrote some months ago, I'm ok with toxic players, but I'm not ok if they target kids that eventually abandon or get demoralized. 1 report per week might be enough for reporting intentional feeding and ability abuse, but it's not enough for reporting toxic players.

My suggestion is split the reports in 2, comm abuse and intentional harm. You get 1 or 2 reports per week for intentional harm, and 5 report for comm abuse.

Most of the time, even if I get flamed myself, I rarely remember to report people. I certainly agree it is crappy when a player is so upset they abandon. But while they have thier own punishment for such behavior, so does the team. The more we play the more we get used to this kind of behavior tho. I do agree however we dont get enough reports. I mean what happens if we get 10 horrible toxic players in 10 different games.

We need mute punishment to be a week again. Also you shouldn't go to LP for comm abuse.

Same here. I don't care if I got flamed. I just mute the toxic player and keep playing. Problem is other people is very sensitive and will either reply back and have a big flame, or abandon or afk jungle.

The communication ban is a bad joke itself. I dont care if he had a rage outbreak 2 games ago, most players have that from time to time.
But if my teammates are muted they cant warn me about a Pudge that just picked up an invis rune and is heading bot once he disappears in the fog. Also they can just ping 3 times. Effectively this doesnt only harm the muted player but his entire team and that is not ok. If someone really annoys me personally I still have a personal mute function.
I don't like to let a damn algorithm decide who I can listen to.

Back in the old good days before Valve ruins the Dota franchise, there was Dotalicious where you could get people muted for comm abuse, BUT you could unmuted them manually if desired.

I only use mute if I intend not to play with such players any more. Because in next game, I can see who is muted and I just have to abandon the match before 5 minutes mark and wait for more 5 minutes to get into a new game with a hope I will be paired up with other players and without harming anyone in my last game that I have just left.

This really is a major problem as not having access to unlimited reports lets rampant trolls run wild due to the lack of available reports to get them banned from games.
Petition to remove Single Draft. All Random is more balanced than Single Draft.
