  • Wrong VAC ban in Dota2

    Greetings.
Today I received a notice that my account (https://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198065312084) was blocked by the VAC system. I suspect that this happened to me because of the use of the Cheat Engine program, which I used to teach the search for data structures in memory. It was necessary for me to understand the storage of information in memory, since I am the current administrator of the gaming platform iCCup, which continues to support DotA in the Warcraft universe. Our team assembled a wrapper in C ++ to compile a card with the ability to edit memory from the server on the client side directly using the game itself through the map, without causing desynchronization. For training I used all my three games - DotA 2, Counter Strike 1.6 and, accordingly, the Warcraft III itself. With exact certainty I can say that I did not try to get any gaming superiority - specifically in DotA 2 I found the basic address of the amount of HP in single mode (clicked "test" on the Abaddon's page), as well as the address of your nickname in the main menu. In CS1.6, I just released the cartridges on the local server alone.
All of the above I want to say that the anti-cheat system has treated me very cruelly, this account I have since childhood, it still has BloodStone invitations, this account is dear to me as a memory. As proof, I attach a link to the part of the DotA project I'm working on (https://drive.google.com/file/d/0Bwk...ew?usp=sharing). I can not believe that more than five years can be crossed out in this way ... I ask you, help.
    Sincerely, Alexander "iCCup.Platoon".

So if every cheater who using cheat engine found gud reason why they use it, vac must be unbanned? Wrong vac ban? U run cheat engine after it, vac ban u, whats here wrong? Ok lets unban all cheaters, who use maphacks, cheat engines etc. U will play online matchmaking vs cheaters when vac can be unbanned? Or u like play dota with maphacks? like it was in dota 1? Every user use Map Hack for win game.

Cheat Engine is a program, that manipulates program data in memory. If VAC detects any program manipulating a Valve game's memory, you will receive a ban. It doesn't matter what, it's doesn't matter how long. That's the rule. No exceptions.
