Leaderboards for every thousand of bracket. Make 9 leaderboards for Dota 2 (or 10). And my question is...
Why Valve don't make the MMR brackets climbing into something with achievements that can appear in the leaderboard?
Let's say, if a player calibrates his initial MMR at 3000+ and is climbing to 4000 MMR, then he receives an achievement after playing for a period of time in 4k bracket (his name appears in 4k bracket leaderboard when he is the top 100 of 4k players).
Since only 10k, 9k, 8k, or many high MMR keep appearing in leaderboard, a lot of high competitions probably appear between those high MMR players. But when the high MMR players came to join the lower MMR brackets, they going to destroy the competitions among the lower brackets players.
A lot of players will ask, "Why high MMR players don't just compete with their competitors in their bracket?". Remember a game called, "Clash of Clans"? It is an android game that provides the best seasonal ranking system I have ever seen in my life and that is how they do it. - You play in that bracket, then you live in that bracket or climb higher. There's no better reason for them to come down and disturb others because every thousand bracket will have their own objective to survive better in their bracket or climb higher for the top 100 in bracket achievement.
UPDATE FOR TITLE: Separate the MMR brackets into 11*
