  • Upgrade the behaviour score system

So i was reading up on the behaviour score today.
and after that i couldnt stop thinking, if valve want to make dota a less toxic place, couldnt the behaviour score be used for that ?

by rewarding players with higher score benefits, while punishing players with low score.

First of all making the behaviour score visable for all, or atleast an option to show on profile, as your mmr is now.

For example the higher score could benefit higher mmr gain, and less mmr loss. Not alot just a few points could change alot, making people that want to gain mmr. also grinding behaviour score.

Higher behaviour score could also give you higher chances for item drops after a match.
Rewarding with ingame cosmetics could be used in many ways.
Example could be voice packs, huds, emojis or chat wheel sounds, that you could only use when you are above a certain score.

Maybe most important of all, the players with high score could be considered "trustworthy". Valve believe that these players aint reporting for no reason, therefore giving them a few mre reports to use every week, and making these reports count for more. This was only a few "trustworthy" players will need to report a flamer before he gets to low prio.
These players could be marked with icons at there names, this way new players might also feel comfortable asking for help.

all in all, changes like these would make it worth alot to increase your behaviour score, with some benefits that will increase game exsperience, both visually and cometetive.

Too bad behavior scores can be a joke as well. If they were public and you could actually vote or in some way contribute to a players score it might be useful.
