    I want to know why i got banned for 2025

    2 days before i got ban for 2025. cannot find match.
    as i contact steam support they came up with the answer -
    "A pattern of behavior was observed on the account that was detrimental to the Dota community. Examples include:
    - Deliberate actions to artificially boost MMR of the account
    - Buying, selling, or trading accounts with boosted MMR
    - Creating an unfair competitive advantage through third-party programs
    - Circumventing low priority by collusion with other users or bots

    These actions undermine the fair, competitive play experience of the Dota community. Steam Support will not lift this account restriction.

    The thing is my account is 3k mmr from the day MMR started . never gone up 3.5k or 2.5k below . SO it never got boosted
    I play rarely mmr may be 10-20 game whole year. I just play normal games . When i never play MMR i donot know how i linked buying or selling
    Third party programs thats not true too
    I rarely go LP . since my net never goes down . may be once in 1-2 year i gone lp . so there is no lp+ bot abuse never happened

    all these things i told is possible to cheak manually .
    So i want to know why i got ban . give 1 reason , giving 4 reasons wont help.
    My ID is - 109643924 . any DEV please if u need any additional info i can give .
    I never did this MMR abuse stuffs I do not even play MMR OR gone LP in years

              i admit i did battle pass abuse so all others did at least 70% of this dota community does . i never knew its a offense as mmr abuse or something like that
              Since i did not mmr abuse can u sir please give me a ban of atleast months as warning so that i will not make the same mistake in future.
              And sir as i did every body did but they have no ban , thats feels unfair
              I accpet if my actions are punishable . I love dota i played from years . losing id this way for nothing . SO please if possible give me months ban for warning so that i can correct my self . If not I accept my 8 year ban as punishment but make sure all those who did also get banned

                I think your estimate of 70% of battlepass owners abusing is a bit high and if you take a read of lots of the recent threads on this forum you will indeed see that a lot of other people are being banned for abusing various parts of the system. Valve finally seem to be taking a hard stand against those cheating/abusing so don’t think there is any chance of you getting the account back. Either wait out the 8 years or make a new Steam account.

                  Ok if that fair battle pass abuse = 8 years ban . i am accepting my punishment
                  But i see people with 100x more abuse than me or 10 account abusing or botting abusing and they got 0 ban
                  And in time valve will know if its 70% or not . They even did MMR abuse made accounts 6k-7k still they got no ban
                  and i did normal game abuse and 8 years . Valve make shadow pool for mmr abuser for us 8 years ban.
                  Fair enough .. i accept
                  ALL i am asking sir since there was no warning about this please give me some punishment as warning . IF not its ok

                      You're wrong. You can just not click Update match history on dotabuff and it will continue from when you re-enabled it.

                        Sir.
                        Well i see your points valid . you want dota gameplay quality to be better. but abuse running from years and so many of them do it . If there was prior notice or something i would not do it . its like those who getting banned are like picked up from 1000 abuser to 1 . all those players i saw doing abuse have no ban .
                        Still fault is a fault . I admit it my fault i did what all did . when all no ban i got 8 year ban . all i am asking please give me at least a chance to correct if future give me some months ban even i admit that. Please sir reconsider this . Abuse wont happen again . a chance for future .TY
